Intelligent Driver Information System

Collision Warning with Auto Brake is available with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which is designed for smooth traffic flow. You just select the desired speed and the minimum time gap to the vehicle in front of you. When the radar sensor detects a slower vehicle in front of you, the speed automatically adapts to that vehicle.

Collision Warning with Auto Brake is designed to sense an impending collision and alert the driver to help avoid or reduce the severity of a crash. A radar sensor behind the grille continuously monitors the distance to the vehicle driving in front of you. If the vehicle suddenly brakes and the system senses that a collision is likely to happen, it will alert the driver to act with a flashing red warning light on the windshield and an audible alarm. Moreover, the system supports driver-initiated braking by obtaining swift brake response by pre-charging the brakes and preparing for panic brake application. Collision Warning with Auto Brake will thus help to alert the driver to avoid a collision and in some situations help reduce the severity of a crash.
